WARREN MORDEN DAVIES

May 16, 1958 - April 1, 2026

A Photo Biography Video is forthcoming.

Please check back soon.

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Warren Davies, aged 67, beloved father, son, brother, and grandfather.

Warren is survived by his three adult children, Melissa, Jordan (Karli), and Connor, who were the greatest joy of his life; his grandson Baker, with whom he cherished every moment; his mother Hazel; his brothers, Craig (Jill) and Brent (Christie); and his four nieces and nephews.

He is also survived by his former wife, Bev, with whom he shared the family they built together.

Warren was predeceased by his father, William.

Born on May 16, 1958, Warren spent his youth living and growing up in the Sturgeon Creek area. He commenced his education at Birchwood elementary school and later attended Strathmillan and Golden Gate Middle Schools. He was a gifted athlete participating in all the school sports and dedicated many hours to the local outdoor rink. His love of sports continued into his adult years, where he became an avid Jets and Blue Bomber fan.

Before graduating from Silver Heights Collegiate, Warren exemplified his entrepreneurial spirit very early in his teen years, holding down multiple part-time jobs. This enabled him to purchase his beloved new yellow Thunderbird, which he took great pride in driving. Warren went on to earn his Commerce degree from the University of Manitoba in 1982. He began his career in the food industry at General Foods in sales account management. He spent many years in the food industry, building relationships and taking pride in his work. Later, he pursued independent work in the sign business before concluding his career in the automotive industry, where his natural sales skills served him well.

A devoted father, Warren found his greatest happiness in time spent with his children, whether on a family vacation, cheering them on at their respective sports, or coaching. He especially loved the road trips with the boys' hockey teams over the years, enjoying the company of the players and the fellow hockey parents. In recent years, becoming a grandfather brought him immense joy. He treasured traditions, including the annual fly-in fishing trip with his brothers, son, and nephew, as well as every opportunity to be on the golf course, especially the annual fall golf weekend at Grand Pines.

Warren will be remembered for his thoughtful nature, his humour, and the love he held for his family. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

In accordance with Warren’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 24, at the Breezy Bend Country Club, 7620 Roblin Blvd, Headingley. A private interment will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.

My condolences to Warren's family and friends. I was his grade four teacher at Strathmillan School. I have fond memories of him as a student, of his smile, and of how much he loved. Rest in Peace.

A true gentleman who I had the pleasure spending virtually my entire early education with him right through university. Throughout that time he was always one of the "nice guys". My thoughts go out to the family and close friends who are mourning this loss.

We're deeply sorry to hear the heartbreaking news about Warren. Thinking about the family trips / vacations we shared, Warren brought a lot of laughter with his upbeat and contagious personality. One memorable comment he made at home a number of years ago: "Bev, the complaint department is on the fifth floor". 😂 This and so many other funny moments will be the way we remember Warren, always seeing the lighter side of life.

Wishing the family all the best in the days ahead. ❤️
