HARVEY DEDURA

It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of Harvey DeDura on August 23rd, 2025 at the age of 74.

Harvey was born on December 20, 1950 in Port Arthur, Ontario (Thunder Bay) to Helga Myllymaki and William DeDura.  He will be missed by siblings Donald (Nellie), Francis and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Predeceased by Raymond (Evelyn), Patricia (Seaforth) and Audrey.

Harvey always loved music and singing. In his teens he loved the works of Motown and the Supremes. After high school Harvey graduated from hairdressing school where he worked in Thunder Bay. He then moved to Winnipeg for much of his career working at Eaton's and The Bay hairdressing. After he retired from hairdressing, he enjoyed painting and sketching as a hobby.

Harvey was a very kind and gentle man. He had a great sense of humour and enjoyed a good joke. He loved animals and loved life. He enjoyed conversing with others about current events and was always up for a good conversation.

Harvey will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
