Stardust, Ashes, then quiet.           Sonny and I met at an Easter party at his Ma’s house while she was away for the weekend. Sonny was 16 and I 17 and there was over 100 people plus 6 cops that Saturday night. The house was a wreck and Ma was unimpressed, but Sonny and I became best buddies, camping at Cultus lake all summer, took in a 3 day rock festival, driving and hitching our way all over BC and Alberta, taking a VW van to Mexico and back, and on and on, memories, too many to list here. People drifted in and out of our lives. Sonny got married and unmarried before meeting his life long soul mate, Chris, while I married and started a family. We stayed in touch for 51 years, me in Chilliwack while he and Chris moved all over the country. Sonny was an amazing man and a loyal friend. Even though Cancer got him in the end, he proudly went through life, always on his own terms, right to the end, so, in the game of life,   Sonny won!!                           I knew Sonny❤❤
