TAMARA LYNN DEWEY

October 11, 1967 - March 9, 2021

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Tamara Dewey on March 9th, 2021, in her 54th year.

Survived by her mother, Vickki Quincey (Peter, pre-deceased), father Douglas Dewey (Shirley), son Matthew, siblings Todd Dewey (Carey), Rebecca Dewey (Tracey), and Teresa Allen (Norm). Cherished and missed by her extended family and friends.

Tamara will lovingly be remembered for her infectious laugh, quick-witted humor, love of cats, ongoing commitment to VHS tapes, music on cassette, ketchup chips, scary movies, and all things 80’s.

After a lifelong struggle with addiction and mental health, she is now at peace in her final resting place.
The family would like to emphasize the message that if you, or someone you know, is struggling with mental health and/or addiction issues to please reach out for support. End the stigma.

In memory of Tamara, donations can be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association.

A private family graveside service will take place.

Tamara was a special friend who had the biggest heart and a strong shoulder to lean on when I needed someone to talk to over a cup of coffee or a cup of tea.  She also made the best ice tea ever.  Now you can have your peace of mind that you have been waiting for and have no more struggles or pain and relax for once.  You and our special Aubrey can sit and have coffees together and watch over all of us now and give us signs that you are doing ok, and someday we will all be together again in the happy place that you always wanted.  I will never forget you and I will miss your laugh and your color of brightness that you showed when you did your coloring books that you did to relax, and I will hope that you will miss the ones that loved you and cared about you dearly.  Love you my friend which was one of your favourite sayings ❤😍
