A NEW FEELING
For
Mom, Grandma, Grandma B, Gigi, Bernice, Bunny
I shed a tear after hearing of our loss but deep inside there is a New Feeling brought to our mind. For me it is that life is always opening a door when you least expect it. A new prospective, a new fresh look at what it is we all too often take for granted. That New Feeling is glued to your subconscious forever. But after time when the sadness lessens, that spark of New Feeling helps you get by. When at first that New Feeling is easily forgotten, not knowing it was ever there in the first place.
Love you forever!

Bernice was one of my favourite golf partners. We enjoyed many "Tee Hee" moments. When she would hit her drive farther than mine, I would hear the roar of her golf cart coming up behind me and the inevitable whoop of "Tee Hee" as she raced past with a big grin. We both looked forward to counting her "Tee Hee" moments after a round. She will be missed.

What a loss! Southwood has lost its greatest cheerleader. Bernice had a magnetic personality, always full of joy, laughter and encouragement. She had a heart like a hotel- room for everybody! We shall certainly miss her. To her family, may your fond memories of her sustain you at this time.

Bernice was always a breath of fresh air with a smile on her face and a warm greeting. Oh and great hugs.
She could move faster on the golf course than most! Maybe she wanted to get to the clubhouse for the post-game socializing, where she had so many friends.
Bernice was a great cheerleader for the Southwood Ladies Nassau Team and it was always lovely to see her at the back of the green updating us on the progressnot the match.
Although loss is always hard, I am happy to hear she went peacefully.
Rest well Bernice. We will miss you on the golf course but know you will be cheering us on from above.

Bernice you are one of the most positive people that we know. You always saw blue in the sky when we were golfing even though it was pouring rain and wasn't going to stop. Southwood was your second family and you loved your times there and all of your friends there. You will be sadly missed Bernice. Safe travels our friend.

Bernice was a truly amazing woman. We curled together at the Pembina where she was a friend to everyone. She was a permanent fixture at Southwood and so much fun to play a round of golf with. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten. Rest in peace, my friend!
