MARCOS CELESTINO DROGUETT

May 19, 1937 - November 20, 2020

It is with great sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Marcos Celestino Droguett on November 20, 2020 at the age of 83 years.

Marcos was born in Santiago, Chile and was the oldest of eight children.

He will be remembered by his beloved wife, Waltraud, of 56 years; as well as his children, Waudru, Marcos (Anndrea), Andre (Sandy); grandchildren, Nicholas, Matthew (Rachel), Braedon; and his princess Melaney; along with his great-grandson Koda. Marcos also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and numerous friends.

Marcos was a very proud, self-educated man. He was an avid reader and wanted to explore the world beyond Chile. This curiosity took him to Europe, were he met the love of his life, and married in 1965 in Germany.

In 1967 Marcos decided to move with his family to Canada - the land of opportunity. He settled in Winnipeg. Marcos was a very ambitious and hard-working man. He quickly established himself as a very successful and award-winning hairstylist, where he made life-long friends.

In his downtime, he enjoyed golf with his friends. He also enjoyed summers in his cottage with his family, close friends, and relatives. In his later years he and his wife enjoyed travelling to Mexico during the winter months. Mexico was his second home where he and Waltraud had many adventures, enjoyed the sun, the people, and making many new friends.

In the end of his wonderful life, his greatest legacy was the love and devotion of his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
