I have the fondest memories of waking up to Bonnys apple pancakes after sleep overs with her daughter Veronica as a child. Bonny always treated me as one of her own, the same she did with many people who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her warm smile, kind heart and humour will be missed. Luckily for us, she passed on a lot of her beautiful traits to her daughter. Although Bonny will be missed, her bright aura will live in the hearts of everyone who knew her. Sending all my love to family and friends, and looking forward to the day we can celebrate the life of this incredible woman in person.

Bonny was someone you just couldn't help but like, so quick to smile and always ready to laugh. Even after not seeing her for a long time, you could just re-connect in seconds and it felt like she still lived next door.  I was so glad to hear that she was learning more about her Indigenous roots, and that she was sharing that journey with Veronica. Her culture and heritage have so much value, and I hope it gave her a deeper sense of identity and place.  My thoughts to everyone who knew her, and especially to Veronica who shares so many of Bonny's positive qualities. I look forward to the time when we can gather and celebrate Bonny's life together. - Sandy

I was so saddened to hear this news. Bonny moved here to Miami the same year we did, and I was always happy to see her and visit when we could. Our girls were only a year apart and became fast friends, we were born the same year, and we wore the same size shoe! Big feet! We connected in those days having tea, and letting the girls run around getting into things - Bonnie had such a great sense of humor about everything. She was a genuinely kind, happy, and non judgmental person. And of course she had a smile that was so warm and incredible. I know she will be sorely missed. My sincere condolences to Phil and Veronica, and all of her loved ones......such a loss for you all. ❤ Christine Longford Miami MB

Only meeting Bonny on a number of occasions she still left a lasting impression on me,  the woman radiates goodness to all around. Her smile is like the sun warming up your soul, any occasion you attend together will not be dull, but rather filled with good chats and laughs. A woman so beautiful and so kind like Bonny will stay in my thoughts, may her sun continue to shine into all our souls as we remember her. ❤

Most of my memories with Bonny were during my middle and high school years. She was a kind, sweet, and caring woman! As time went by, I only saw her on very rare occasions. My last real conversation I had with Bonnie was when I was still in university and I happened to see her on the bus. She greeted me with her radiant smile and she was absolutely glowing! Although, our encounter was short, she was still the same kind woman I remember!  I will always remember Bonnie and she will live on in my heart forever! May she rest in peace! I love you!

My Aunty Bonny was a remarkable woman who lived life like no other. She had a smile that would light up a room and could always make you laugh. Some of things she would come up with... No matter what she was going through and as hard as things were. She always smiled. Aunty Bonnie was taken far to soon, and will always have a special place in my heart. Veronica, she lives through you.  Words can't wipe away your tears and hugs won't heal your pain, but hold on to your memories as forever she'll remain. I know I will hold my memories of my Aunt close to my heart. ❤
