BEVERLEY EINARSSON

July 24 ,1949 - December 2, 2019

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Beverley Einarsson on December 2, 2019 at the age of 70 years. Having faced illness with her usual good humour and charm, she passed peacefully at home with her children by her side.

Born in Winnipeg on July 24 1949, Beverley Lynne was raised by her loving parents, Einar and Beatrice. She attended Greenway and Sargent Park schools, and graduated from Tec Voc in 1967. An outgoing woman, Bev soon attracted many close friends when she began her career at the Monarch Life Assurance Company. Following Monarch Life, she branched out into office management and medical reception. Many medical offices throughout Winnipeg were blessed with her warm presence over the years. True to form, she established a strong network in Winnipeg medical circles, which proved very valuable in later years. Building on these skills and experience, she launched the next phase of her career: teaching at Herzing College, where the next generation of medical office professionals benefited from her expertise.

Beverley was happiest surrounded by people and animals, whether this was at work, on a road trip with friends or family, or at a family dinner sharing her famous pancakes. The family farm was a favourite destination and refuge; times of stress often brought the announcement: “We’re going to the farm!” Bev had many dear friends in the Gimli/Arborg area, but was especially close to Erla. Bev also rescued many animals, and always had her dogs and cats close by. Her two “girls” Cagney and Lacey were a great comfort to her in later years.

Bev adored travel, and enjoyed many trips with her step-daughter Sherry, including Hawaii, Great Britain, Mexico, California, and Florida.

Following the passing of her father Einar in 1987, Bev kept close to her mother and provided great support. When Beatrice became ill, Beverley moved back home and lovingly caring for her until she passed in 2015.

Beverley is lovingly remembered by her brothers Gerry (Vicki), Bob, and Jim (Pat); as well as her children Kyle and Jaecy (Chris); step children; nieces and nephews Evan (Annie), Sarah (Matt),  Amy (Cory), Jimmie (Rachel); grandchildren Justin, Danielle, and Charley; and her dear friend Marcia. She adored her two great-grandchildren Asher and Ellie.

Bev is predeceased by her first love Bob Farmer, her last love Dave Dobson (Papa), and her dear friend Ruth Paul.

Friends and relatives are encouraged to share memories, stories, and/or condolences for the family by using the comment section on this page.

A celebration of her life will be held 5:00 p.m. Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Charleswood Curling Club, 4000 Grant Avenue.

Condolences from the Jakobson family to all of you. We have many happy memories of good times spent with Beverley and the rest of the family. I may not be able to join you on the 14th because I am sharing care of my mother, who is very frail. However, I will be thinking of you and remembering Bev. Bless.
