Laurie was my friend & mentor at ASD, if I ever had any horse questions of health, injury or where to enter, Laurie was my go to! One time we went to get straw out of a field & while I was driving out on the country roads I waved at everyone we met as I’m custom to do(I am from in the states) After several waves, Laurie finally asked, do you know these guys are waving at? I told him no, but that’s what I do. And he thought that was quite a strange custom I had and got a huge laugh out of it! I had many great times with him, he will surely be missed at ASD especially by me!🥲

My husband Harold Neubuhr and I send our condolences to Laurie's family and friends. Harold galloped for Laurie and Laurie in later years did stalls and helped out around the barn. Many great stories and laughs were shared. Rest in peace 🏇🏇🏇
