ROBERT “KEITH” ELVERS

May 27, 1943 - August 12, 2022

With his daughter by his side, Keith left this life. He is survived by son Lee (Jill) and daughter Era (Ty) and his granddaughters, Mitra and Kadence. He is also survived by brother Gordon (Donna) and nephew Thomas, plus numerous cousins. A special thanks to Sharon who maintained contact and concern for his wellbeing. He was predeceased by parents, Otto and Emma.

Keith grew up in Rossburn and led an interesting and varied life including Avenue Electric, Royal Bank, IAC, Walt's Trailer Sales, & The Pas Lumber Mill. He started his own realty, travel and insurance company in The Pas. In 1989, Keith and Sharon and Era left for Kamloops. He owned and operated a Marvellous Muffins franchise, managed the Kamloops Golf and Country Club, and then became a financial advisor.

Keith was a very good golfer and also loved curling. He enjoyed trips to play courses such as Pebble

Beach, Doral, in Palm Springs, and at his home course, Rivershore. He also came very close to representing BC in the Brier.

Dementia started to surface and Keith struggled through the remainder of his life. He lived with family in Brandon and Winnipeg and eventually spent 2 years in Rossburn. Thanks to Russ Andrew for keeping a watchful eye while there. Keith's dementia caused problems and eventually he was accepted into Lions Manor in Winnipeg.

He recently fell, broke his hip, and had surgery to repair it. Unfortunately, other factors interfered with his recovery and he passed while at the Grace Hospital.

The staff at Grace Hospital were very kind and caring and want to thank them for their compassionate care. We also wish to thank the staff at Lions Manor for their care during his residence there.

Cremation has taken place and burial will take place at Rossburn Cemetery at a later date.

Keith's family kindly requests that all of his friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour his memory by sharing photos, memories, and stories, using the comment section on this page.

So so sad to recently hear of Keith’s passing. He was such a kind considerate man who was always there if you needed help. He had an amazing fulfilling life but will be dearly missed.
