CELIA RUTH ENGELBRETSON

February 20, 1937 - March 6, 2021

Celia Ruth Engelbretson of Winnipeg, MB, has passed away peacefully, with her children at her side, after a very brief battle with cancer.

Celia lived a life full of love from her late husband Karl, her 4 children, 8 grandchildren, 7 great grand children, her 3 sisters and her brother, sister in-laws, brother in-laws, and numerous nieces and nephews and friends.

She loved to knit and crochet, reading, and a good game of bingo.

In keeping with Celia’s wishes there will be no service and mom will be cremated and placed with her late husband Karl.

I loved "Mama" like she was my own mother. We used to talk everyday on the phone and she'd tell me she fell asleep sitting up watching the news. I used to hear about her "stitching & bitching" and some new pattern she saw on the google. Looks like they finally called her bingo number, and she'll forever be missed by those whos lives she touched.
