THERESA (TERRY) MARGARET FALK

(née TAYLOR)

November 4, 1953 – August 17, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Theresa (Terry) Margaret Falk – a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt – at the age of 71.

Theresa passed away at St. Boniface Hospital on August 17, 2025, at 4:52 a.m.

Theresa was predeceased by her loving grandpa; her father and mother; her father and mother in-law; brothers, Stevie, Patrick, and Robert; sisters, Sharon, Diane, and Brenda; brothers-in-law, Dennis and Dale; nephew Colin; and niece Carol.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are husband Larry; daughter Sandra (Tony); son Barry; grandsons, Kameron, Austin, Jared, Benjamin, Theodore, Daniel, and Alex; sisters, Valerie, Cathy (Gani), and Darlene; brother Brian (Nancy); sisters-in-law Jenny, Marlene, and Barb; and longtime friend Carla. Terry will also be missed by several nephews and nieces.

Terry and Larry were married on October 7, 1977, in Winnipeg, MB, where they raised their two children. They were soulmates who enjoyed life together – whether going for a cruise around Manitoba, grabbing an ice cream, or especially visiting the casino to play the slots, or Bingo.

Terry was the heart of her family. Though her passing leaves an immeasurable void, her legacy of love, humour, grace, and generosity will live on in every life she touched. She was a wonderful and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her family was her life.

Terry was a fantastic cook, her cabbage rolls never dry, and her blueberry cheesecake were a favourite.

Terry,

Thank you for giving us

the best years of our lives.

Though we mourn losing you,

we know you are with

Jesus and your family,

which gives us comfort.

Until we meet again, Baby.

Cremation has taken place. There will be no service, and burial will take place at a later date.

Terry’s family kindly requests that all of her friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour her memory by sharing photos, memories, and stories, using the comment section on this page.

My condolences Larry, Sandra And Barry. Terry and Larry and kids lived across the street from me on Devon. She was an absolutely awesome daily care-giver to my two children. My kids loved their "Auntie Terry" and still bring up memories of their times with her. May she rest in peace🙏💕

To the grandma who never failed to crack a smile out of me, fill the room with laughter, and serve up the most unforgettable meals, your ribs were legendary, just like your love. You gave warmth, joy, and comfort in every way. I love you so much, and I’ll be looking up at the stars from time to time, knowing you’re safe with the angels.

Love you Grandma.

Thank you for teaching me the art of retail pricing during those 10-to-11 mornings watching The Price Is Right with Bob Barker. For always choosing a hot dog bun instead of a cookie at Sobeys — because you knew I couldn’t have the cookies — and for making those little acts of care feel like big moments.

Terry was such a sweet lady. Her and her family were a big part of my childhood. Whenever I saw her she always took time to have a one on one conversation with me. I don't know if she ever knew how much that meant to me and how special it made me feel. It’s been years since I’ve seen her but I still remember her contagious smile and laugh.

My heartfelt condolences to all who knew and loved her 🥰

We are heartbroken to say goodbye to Aunty Terry whose immense generosity, warm hugs, infectious laugh, and legendary chocolate chip cookies made every moment with her feel like home. Ill never not think of you when I see The Price Is Right on TV- it won’t be the same without her cheerful spirit filling the room. Thank you for all the love you gave us so freely — You will be deeply, deeply missed.

Marshall and I were so fortunate to have neighbours like Terry and Larry for so many years while living on Devon Ave. Terry was always there if I needed anything and when my boys were young she babysat many a time. She always had something cooking on the stove and more than willing to share a recipe or a taste. She kept an imaculate home, and shared lots of tips on cooking and cleaning We had lots of laughs over the years but sadly after they moved didn't keep in touch as much as I hoped. My condolences to you Larry, Sandra and Barry. She was an amazing woman and her memories will live forever.

I want to say how much I'll miss you but, the tears .make me pause for a second. I loved our New Years celebration a few years back. We felt no pain in the moment but paid the next day. Lol And you had the luck of the Irish at bingo/keno. You'll never be forgotten.
