Elizabeth Feschuk

ELIZABETH MARIE FESCHUK
April 24, 1946 – March 12, 2026
With heavy hearts, we announce that Elizabeth peacefully passed away on March 12, 2026 in Deer Lodge Centre Personal Care Home at the age of 79.
Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband Patrick; her daughter Linda-Gayle; and her brothers, Joey and Ronnie.
Elizabeth is survived by her sister Jane (Ivan); her daughter Aleta (Brent); her sons, Robert (Lynn) and Vincent (Shirley); and her two stepsons, David (Eric) and Grant.
Elizabeth is also survived by her nine grandchildren, Tiffany (Dustin), Drake (Brooke), Hunter, Amber-Lynn, Clarrisa (Cody), Robert Jr., Christopher, Tabrina (Nick) and Mathew; and her four great grandchildren, Sophie, Josie, Mary-Jane and Blake.
Elizabeth was a mother and grandmother first and enjoyed taking the time to attend as many sporting, musical, educational or other events the children were in.
Elizabeth was very proud to have studied hard to become a Licensed Practical Nurse. She eventually moved to Brandon where she began her career in the sterilization department of the Brandon General Hospital. Subsequently she moved to Winnipeg to work at the Seven Oaks Hospital until her retirement. Elizabeth also enjoyed being active in Toastmasters and thoroughly enjoyed travelling to attend and occasionally speak at the Toastmaster events.
She was an avid traveller, and her favourite trip was to Poland where she was able to reconnect with some of her family and take in the beautiful countryside. Elizabeth’s other passion was her cottage in Gimli where she spent many summers relaxing. She always enjoyed socializing and loved to dance.
When her youngest daughter’s health failed, Elizabeth took on an active role in successfully raising Linda-Gayle’s two children.
Unfortunately, Liz’s health began to deteriorate over the past few years, which reduced her ability to partake in all her favourite activities. She had a positive impact on so many lives and will be missed.
In Accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held at 1:00 p.m. the 29th day of March 2026 at Deer Lodge Centre, 2109 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba. Please make donation to Diabetes Canada in lieu of flowers.
