Chuck Fisher

CHARLES “CHUCK” EDWARD FISHER
April 2, 1960 – December 28, 2024
Known as Chuck. Born April 2nd 1960 in Roblin Manitoba. Son of Albert and Sophie Fisher. Chuck was the oldest of 4 children. He grew up in the town of Snow Lake MB, fishing, playing hockey while also officiating many hockey games for both junior and senior teams. Chuck spent a great deal of time with the sea cadets in his late teenage years which took him all over Canada including Hawaii.
Chuck met his first wife Karen Kennedy-Bevan in Snow Lake where they had their only son, Reid Fisher in 1985. He worked in the mine for Hudson Bay for many years prior to moving to Winnipeg in 1987. Shortly after arriving in Winnipeg, he started his career with Winnipeg Hydro. Chuck and Karen parted ways in 1988.
In 1991, Chuck met the love of his life Marilyn Fisher-Robinson and her 2 boys, Andrew Irving & Lee Irving. In 2011 Chuck and Marilyn were finally married. The two of them shared many adventures over the years, frequenting small islands in the Caribbean and many locations throughout Mexico. We can all agree though, that his favorite place to be was the trailer. He spent the majority of his time there in the summer and couldn’t wait for the winter to be over to get back out there.
He retired from Manitoba Hydro after 28 years of service and he and Marilyn moved to Beausejour. They enjoyed the quiet and were closer to the grandkids. Chuck spent the majority of his time with his grandchildren: Finleigh Irving, Bennett Irving and Jackson Irving. He really loved being a grandpa.
Chuck passed away in the comfort of his home on Dec. 28th, 2024, leaving behind his wife of 33 years.
We miss you & love you.

Chuck introduced me to waterskiing back in his Snowlake days when he had a boat. I always remember Chuck with a smile and his joyful laugh.
My condolences to all who loved him.
