MARJORIE CAROL FOX

December 11, 1952 – March 27, 2024

After bravely battling cancer, Carol passed away in Arborg Hospital on March 27, 2024, at the age of 71.

She will be sadly missed by her daughter Sherri (Randy) Glazier; grandsons, Evan and Owen; brother Gregg (Cindy); sister-in-law Pam; ex-husband (and friend) Walter Wulff; her dear friend Ken Park; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and her cat Sox.

Carol was pre-deceased by her parents, John (Jack) and Muriel Fox; husband Raymond Schneider; and twin brother John (Cam) Fox.

Carol grew up in St. James, attended Silver Heights Collegiate and studied Secretarial and Bookkeeping at Red River College. She worked as an Office Manager at Master Roofing for several years, until her retirement. She spent many summers at Camp Neustadt, before moving to Brewster Bay, and later Silver Harbour, Arnes.

Carol was smart, pretty and fun. She had a warm smile, wry humour, and an infectious laugh. Carol enjoyed lake life, travelling, camping, boating, playing cards, cooking, baking, sewing, crafting and spending time with her many friends and family. She was an accomplished gardener, landscaper, and decorator; she had excellent taste, and took great pride in her home.

Thank you to the staff at Arborg Hospital for their care.

She Is Gone

by David Harkins

You can shed tears that she is gone

Or you can smile because she has lived

You can close your eyes and pray that she will come back

Or you can open your eyes and see all that she has left

Your heart can be empty because you can’t see her

Or you can be full of the love that you shared

You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday

Or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday

You can remember her and only that she is gone

Or you can cherish her memory and let it live on

You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back

Or you can do what she would want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Prairie Spirit United Church, 207 Thompson Drive, in Winnipeg on Friday May 3rd, 2024 at 1:00.

Carol’s family kindly requests that all of her friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour her memory by watching the photo-biography above. Please, also consider sharing your own photos, memories, and stories by making use of the comment section on this page.
