ANNE LILIAN FRANKLIN

Anne Lilian Franklin, age 82, of Winnipeg, passed away on 23 November 2023 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.

Anne was born on February 2, 1941 to George and Helen Mortimer in Hull, England. She married her husband, David, in 1960. They started a family in England, then immigrated to Canada in 1968. After raising her family and working in Winnipeg, they retired to a cabin in Lac Du Bonnet where they filled their time with crafts and woodworking.  

Anne was predeceased by her loving husband David, son Paul, grandson Jason, brother George and sister Marjorie.

Her memory will be cherished by her sons Neil (Annette), Peter (Debbie) and Mark (Doris). Her grandchildren Kevin, Karen, Mandy, Michael, Ashly and Courtney. Her great-grandchildren, Rylan, Aydan, Wyatt, Jocelyn, Isabella, Lukas and Delilah. Her sister Lynda (Martyn). As well as her extended family in England and Canada.

We will miss her greatly.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Beacon Hill Lodge for their excellent care and support.

There will be a small celebration of life for the immediate family. The family askes that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Anne to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba.
