It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Valerie Friesen.

Valerie was a woman of incredible strength, determination, and resilience. Throughout her life she faced challenges with courage and always did things her own way. She loved deeply, cared fiercely for her family, and left an impression on everyone who knew her.

Above all else, Valerie loved her family. A proud Mother of Karen-Lynn (Jerrett), Mark (Christa) and Crystal; and Grandmother to Jesse (Vanessa), Mariah (Alex), Walker, Owen and Colby; Great Grandmother to Jocelyn, Hunter, and Nash. Her presence will be missed more than words can express. Her family was the center of her world, and the memories she created with those she loved will be treasured forever.

Valerie had a sharp sense of humor, a strong spirit, and a determination that carried her through life's ups and downs. Even during difficult times, she continued to show the strength that defined her.

As we say goodbye, we take comfort in knowing that her suffering has ended and that she is finally at peace. Though our hearts are broken, we are grateful for the time we shared with her, the lessons she taught us, and the love she gave us.

She leaves behind a family who loved her dearly and who will carry her memory forward every day.
