DOROTHY GARRETT
May 1, 1951 β November 12, 2025
With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Dorothy, who died unexpectedly on November 12, 2025, at the age of 74.
She is lovingly remembered by her children, Rob Morley, Dale (Cindy) Morley, and Tom (Candy) Morley; her grandchildren, Marina, Christine, Alyssa, and Violet; and her great-grandchildren, Keagan, Kaylana, and Kayson. She is also survived by her siblings, Diane, Peggy, and Bill, as well as numerous extended family members and friends. She will be missed by all that knew her.
Dorothy had many passions throughout her life, including spending time with her family and close friends, gardening, and baking. She also cherished the companionship of many pets over the years, especially the beloved family cat, Little One, from her childrenβs younger days. Grateful for the blessings in her life, she enjoyed helping both people and animals, volunteering with organizations such as the SPCA and, most recently, her local food bank.
A celebration of her life will be held by the family at a future date.

I just learned of my long time friend, Dorothy's passing. My sincere condolences to Rob, Dale and Tom Morley. Her grandchildren who she cherished.and great grandchildren. Also her siblings Diane, Peggy and Bill.
We both went to elementary school together in Melville, Sk and in the mid 1970's we reconnected again In Melville.
She was a lovely person, always with a smile on her face.
i had the opportunity to visit this beautiful lady in Winnipeg, in 1990 her hospitality was amazing.
She spoke in such positive way about her children, grandchildren and siblings.. RIP my dear friend. Much love to all of you! β€οΈ

when she was a little girl, she couldn't say Dorothy, so she said her name was Dodo...she was called that by family and her friends for her childhood years [ except by her school friends.]....she was a lovely little girl....I am sorry to hear of her passing so young....
