SUZANNE LUCILLE MARIE GIROUARD

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Suzanne Lucille Marie Girouard, at the age of 53, on April 2, 2025, at the Health Science Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba. After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Suzanne passed away surrounded by two of her children, her sister, and a dear friend. Born on October 3, 1971, at St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Suzanne was predeceased by her beloved mother, Lucille.

Suzanne is survived by her sister, Denise; her children, Nicholas, Hunter (Elyssa), Michael (Victoria, their children Bernadetta and Olivia), Boston, and Little Suzy; her rock and best friend Rick Witoski, who was also her caregiver; her "boys," Tyler (Shenille and Kiera, affectionately known as Boo Butt) and Seth; and special friends, Erin, Jen, and Michael. Suzanne will also be dearly missed by the extensive online community she created and nurtured over the years.

The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to Suzanne's oncology team at the Health Science Centre, the Bethesda palliative care team, and Rick for their exceptional care and compassion throughout her battle. Suzanne was a beautiful woman inside and out, with a contagious laugh and a smile that could light up any room.

A celebration of life will take place from 2:00pm – 5:00pm on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at the Belgian Club, 407 Provencher Blvd. Winnipeg Manitoba.

If friends so desire to send flowers, Suzanne's favorite flowers were lilies, white being her preferred. Alternately a donation can be made to her Go Fund Me to help her family with expenses.
