BRADYN JOSEPH GRANGER

February 22, 2001 - June 24, 2024

With devastatingly heavy hearts, we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Bradyn on June 24, 2024 at the age of 23.

Bradyn is survived by his mother Bobbie (Scott), his father Joseph (Joanne), brothers Brett, Matthew, Jace, step sister, Adelle and nephew Luca Lee. Bradyn leaves behind many friends, family and many animals he cherished in his heart.

Bradyn was born on Feb 22, 2001, our beautiful baby was a very wonderful addition to our blended family, his big brothers kept him busy, active and happy. Bradyn loved playing with his hockey stick until he was introduced to Pirates of the Caribbean at age 3. He loved pirates so much that he would tell people his grandfather was Captain Jack Sparrow. Bradyn was a Pisces and was a fish in water. He loved his toys and Pirate Lego collection. Bradyn’s parents spent all their time ensuring their boys had a wonderful child hood full of family times, camping trips, beach days and watching his older brothers play sports and music concerts.  Bradyn was introduced at a young age to sports and we thought it would keep him busy, for a brief time he played hockey, football, basketball, Tae Kwon Do. Unfortunately, he wasn’t buying into any of them and lost interest. At this time, Video games were the thing to do and he loved his games.

During his early years, Bradyn had some issues and was diagnosed with ADHD/ODD. This brought many challenges for him. Bradyn struggled through his teen years and spent a lot of his time away from his family and friends which affected him greatly.

Bradyn had many friends all over Canada, there is one friend that was particularly special to him A big Thank you to Cyrus and his family for always being there for Bradyn through all his ups and downs and in-betweens.

Bradyn had a kind heart, he loved animals and his younger brother Jace.  He was amazing with children, he could have done great work with kids who had the same experiences as he had gone through. The hardest part is knowing he won’t have that opportunity.

Since December 2023, Bradyn was trying to find his way, a path for him to move forward after 3 years on the inside. With little to no supports available for him upon release he quickly fell into a lost state and was struggling to find his way. His demons were too strong and took a tole on him deeply. We lost him and now he is gone and we are all left wondering how we could have changed this outcome. Bradyn was a proud soul and wouldn’t let himself be down and out so only he knows his story now.

He will forever be remembered as a beautiful boy and kind sole, Rest in total peace our son.

Bobbie (Scott) Joe & family, no parent should have to bury their child. I knew Brayden when he was just a very young boy & haven't seen him in years. Grief is the price we pay for Love. Right now I am not the one for saying anything other than to say I am deeply sorry for your loss. No matter what path our kids decide to take in their lives as a parent we Love them no matter what. Brayden is freer now probably than he has ever been. You don't have to say good bye just see you later my boy ❤️

So Sorry for your loss. Even though Bradyn faced many challenges, he always had a great sense of humour and had many successes in his journey.

I'm so sorry my sister. He will be greatly missed. I am so happy that I got to spend time with Bradyn recently and got to experience what a kind, caring, funny person he was. I was looking forward to seeing him more and it breaks my heart knowing that isn't an option now.

RIP my nephew.💔
