Oliver Grenier
OLIVER JOSEPH GRENIER
June 8, 1942 - January 27, 2020
With deep sadness we are very sorry for the passing of Oliver. He will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends. He leaves to mourn Shirley, Ron (Donna), Brian (Elisa), Shelley (Darcy), Kelley (Mark), grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and his siblings Roger (Edith), Alice (Albert). He was predeceased by 9 siblings.
Oliver was a hard working man all his life. He was a plumber by trade and worked many years at Unit Mechanical Services and retired there. He loved working with his hands and made model airplanes and ships as a hobby.
Oliver also loved to play golf and pool with Ken and Terry Mondor. He also enjoyed walking to stay active. Oliver loved to do Suduko’s and LOTS of crossword puzzles in books, newspapers and on the I-Pad.
Oliver loved his man-cave in the garage. He spent many enjoyable hours visiting his family and friends in his man-cave. He also loved maintaining his yard by cutting the grass and keeping it immaculate.
Oliver loved the outdoors. He really liked having friends and family over for barbecues. Oliver’s friendly demeanour always enabled him to make friends with everyone he met. He would always lend a helping hand to whomever needed help. He was a generous, kind and a good natured person. He was respected and loved by so many people.
We will all miss you Oliver, immensely!
Time is to slow for those who wait,
Too swift for those who fear,
Too long for those who grieve,
Too short for those who rejoice,
But for those who love...
Time is eternity.
By, Henry Van Dyke
