Jerry was so special but you already know that! His life was one of service leading his colleagues into the fire instead of away. At the many social gatherings he listened so intently to conversations. His quiet way but twinkle in his eye made a difference to all in the room. The car ralleys, the halloween parties, the fun at Falcon Lake, the golf games, he was pallbearer for my dear Ken. Gone too soon; he will be sadly missed. Prayers and deepest condolences to all who loved him! ❤❤

I cut his hair for so many years he became a friend. We shared many laughs and had the greatest conversations. When I saw Jerry ( and Maria) in the appointment book I always knew it  was going to be a great day. So sad he had to leave so soon.😢 Jerry you will be missed.

So sorry for your loss, Maria. Jen & I have had many happy times with you & Jerry.  As a Firefighter, Jerry was always thought of as a person who could be counted on to lead in any situation. We all respected him greatly and are going to miss him. As a friend we shared many terrific moments around the table discussing golf & life.  Those moments will never be the same.  Terry

Maria:  I knew Jerry shortly after I started on the job! I was stationed at # 5 and I think Jerry was downtown! Not 100% sure about that but Jerry was top Notch! A great FF and a great person ! He was always a professional! I lived couple blocks from you a Jerry and would see you guys out taking walks! My wife and myself, Henri and Barb Pambrum enjoyed a meal together in Phoenix with you and Jerry! Moments I will always remember! Both our prayers are with you during this difficult time  Take care! Very for your loss Maria. I met  Jerry when I started my career at #5 stn, along with Tommy Benidictson. With all the day trades I had the pleasure of working often with Jerry and his crew. He was a lot of fun,,always a gentleman, and a helluva fire fighter. We crossed paths off and on over the years, and he was one of those special guys who warmed your heart when we did. The old guys had a term for a guy like Jerry, "A Prince Among Men". He was always that.

Jerry was one of the good ones. We trampled many of the same ashes together. Good, courageous firefighter, later a good officer and always a descent man. I am truly sorry to hear of his passing. Too soon. My condolences to his family.

Upon recently learning this news I am deeply saddened and sorry for your loss. Jerry was a trusted colleague, friend and a pretty good golfer. When I worked with him at Number 1 Station I always knew we would be okay, he made me and others feel important. Maria, I know how much he will be missed but hope you can find some comfort knowing he walks with you forever.
