It’s so hard to say, ‘see you later’ but a relief to know you are not in pain anymore. You are loved and will be missed by everyone whose life you touched.

Our sweet girl, Melanie Guest, left us on August 10, 2022, to join her mom and dad in heaven. Mel just celebrated her 55th birthday on June 30, 2022 and we were fortunate to spend this special day with her. She is survived by her two sons who she doted on, Tyler and Bryton (Melissa), her grandchildren, Nathan, Brody and one on the way, her sister Leah (Keith), brother Phil, aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends, Courtney, Glen and Maurice. She is predeceased by her parents and grandparents.

Mel was a very generous, loving individual, who was kind to everyone she knew. Even in her last days she always made a point to compliment her guests and say thank you to the wonderful nurses and staff. A special thank you to the nurses and staff at Park Manor who were the most caring individuals. We can’t thank you enough for your care, compassion, and tenderness. Mel had special bonds with staff who really were considered her friends – you know who you are.

We thought we had years to share with Mel and this came as a shock to us all. Don’t take anything for granted and make the time to give your family and friends many hugs whenever you get the chance.
