ROBERT MICHEAL GURAL
October 27, 1949 – August 9, 2024
It is with sadness that the family of Robert Gural announces his passing on August 9, 2024, at the age of 74.
Robert was born and raised in Winnipeg, MB, the only child of Julie (née Kologinski) and Michael (Mitch) Gural. He is predeceased by his parents and leaves an extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins to fondly remember him.
Robert had a variety of jobs during his working years but was always happiest being outdoors, whether he was hunting, fishing or simply sitting and enjoying the day from a lawn chair. He was an accomplished hunter and fisher and was ever eager to share stories about his adventures. He had a passion for vehicles and took meticulous care of his “babies.”
The family extends much thanks to the home care staff who cared for Robert over the last few years.
In accordance with Robert’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a grave side service will be held at 2:30pm on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, in Glen Eden Cemetery, 4477 Main Street, West St. Paul, MB.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favourite charity.
Rest in peace, Robert.
Robert’s family kindly requests that all of his friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour his memory by sharing photos, memories, and stories, using the comment section on this page.

Robert and I did alot of hunting and fishing together in the Ozerna area.He shot his biggest buck when we were together. It probably still hangs in the basement of his home today.I also remember when he had a great day of hunting ducks. He came over to the farm to tell me.He was so excited. He had 24 Blue Bill ducks and hid them in the old grainery bin.He took me to see them and they were gone.Someone stole them.He was so sad,one of his greatest, fun times hunting turned out to be so disappointing. Lots of fun times and hard work together. Cousin Barry Kologinski.
