TAMMY LEE ROSE HADDOCK

September 6, 1972 - January 7, 2024

It is with deep sadness that we announced the tragic passing of Tammy Lee Rose Haddock at the age of 51 years with her daughter Crystal by her side.

She was predeceased by her dad, Rene Haddock and her son, Cory Haddock and many cousins, friends, aunts and uncles.

Tammy leaves behind to mourn her mom, Lucia Haddock, her children Crystal and Tianna, her grandchildren Caleb and Lucas, her sisters Tracy (Marc) and Sandy (Terry), her nieces and nephews Kinew, Dyami, Raymie, Kacia and Fayth, as well as many dear cousins, family, friends and chosen family.

In early childhood she grew up with zest and curiosity in Ile-Des-Chenes, Manitoba with a few years in Alberta.  The family moved to “the big city” of Winnipeg in her early teens.  Tammy was independent, strong, a loyal friend, who protected those in her circle and brought hours of laughter, joy, and a hint of rebellion to their lives.

Tammy loved little animals; she once snuck a kitten in the house in her teens.  Mom said she couldn’t keep him so she could only call him Mr. Meow until another home was found.  Let’s just say he lived out his life keeping his name, Mr. Meow and keeping his place in their home.  She could easily be found around town by spotting her guardian dog, Sheba, who would block the door of whichever home, store, or other building that she was in with her sisters.

Tammy’s 3 best days of her life were in 1990 when she was blessed to be made a mama, with the arrival of her precious Cory.  Then in 1993 when Crystal arrived, Tammy’s mini me in so many ways. And thirdly, 2002 when her little Tianna arrived, the light of her life!  She recently referred to her children as the “three most precious gifts in the world”.  She was also blessed with two wonderful grandsons, Caleb and Lucas.

In 1995 Tammy moved west and settled in Nanaimo, BC.  Throughout Tammy’s career, ranging from a traffic controller to working as a teller, Tammy’s innate ability to connect with people shone.  She loved playing baseball and she even won a championship one year with her team and she was often the life of the party!  Growing up Tammy would often say she wanted to be an artist.  Her artistic side was clearly seen in her gift to take an old item and re-purpose it into something beautiful!

Tammy struggled for many years and there was pain in her heart beyond our understanding and she saw horrific things that most of us will never see in our lifetime.

Tammy shared a dream to one day open a shop called “Pamper Me”, a place where girls are welcomed with open arms to be pampered.  In lieu of flowers please consider donating in honor of Tammy to a local warming shelter, overnight shelter or addictions support organization to help those who are in need of your unconditional love.

And He (God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be any more.  The former things have passed away.

Tammy I hope you are at peace and no longer suffering. I picture you happy and beautiful in the spirit realm with your son who you so desperately missed. Wherever you are my wish for you is that you are free from the despair of addiction. Thank you for touching my life the way you did. I’ll miss you but we will meet again.

Tammy was so gentle and kind. She loved people where they were at. Her and I had many great conversations about motherhood, life and strength as women. We supported eachother through difficult times and celebrated some wins. My children knew Tianna and Crystal and were deeply saddened to hear of her passing. We extend our deepest condolences.... She will be missed..

My deepest condolences to all of Tammy's family and friends. I met Tammy in 1997 in Nanaimo BC and was blessed to know Cory, Crystal, and TT (Tiana) and shared many good times and a lot of laughs with her during the years we hung out. She had a wonderful sense of humour. She will be dearly missed here but I know she will be happy to be with Cory once again.

RIP Tammy GBNF.

So very sorry for your family’s loss. We have known Lucia for many years. Although we never met Tammy, Lucia spoke of her children to us often. Our hearts are breaking for Lucia and family at this very difficult time. 💔  Thankful for the hope and comfort the  Bible gives of seeing these lost loved ones again.  John 5:28

So many sweet memories of my little cousin. I remember being a part of helping smuggle animals into her home, because I knew they would be in good hands. Her smile and her laugh were contagious and she had a spirit of adventure. There was always an adventure when Tammy was around., She left many of us with those memories that we will forever treasure .God has released her from her pain that none of us will truly understand.. Finally she has found peace. She is now home in the arms of all those who loved her. I pray that her passing reminds us all to honor her … by sharing with others her gifts of being gentle and kind. And  to help those who ask that of us. That would make Tammy smile and give meaning to her life. As she gave meaning,, love and hope to  so many others. Rest in peace. my precious cousin. 🙏

We are so sorry for your family’s loss. We never met Tammy, but know her mom Lucia - so we know she must have been a special person.  We look forward to meeting her in the resurrection promised in the Bible.  If she is as kind & funny as her mom, we are sure we will love her too.

I remember Tammy as a teenager.  So full of vim and vigor.  I am so sorry of her death.  Hopefully she and DJ connect and talk all about being at Memere's and Pepere's..."the good old days!".

I love all of you and praying for peace in all of our hearts..

Sweet Dee as Lulu would call me...

I've many fond memories of Tammy especially our family camping trips. She always spent time with me which I was thankful for as was often the sole male cousin on those camps. She was funny, kind, thoughtful and I'll always remember her kind soul.

Till we meet again cuz. ❤️🤗
