ANGELA HAMILTON
August 15, 1986, July 1, 2018
It is with immeasurable sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Angela Hamilton. She left us on July 1, 2018 but will reside within the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
She will be sadly missed by her mother Marcee; father Allen, sister Kristen and brother Matthew. She will also be missed by her two half-sisters Jessica and Danielle Platz.
The family’s many travels provided a platform for Angela to meet and impact many, many people. She was always the brightest light in any room.
Angela was born on August 15, 1986 in Calgary, AB where she lived until the age of five. It was at this point she began her exciting journey throughout Canada with her family. She moved to Winnipeg, MB in July 2000, where she lived until she passed away. She considered Winnipeg to be her home and made many wonderful friends throughout the years. Her energy was the kind that no matter what, people always took note of. The kind that made a person want to get to know her. As was her beauty. Inside and out, Angela was undeniably beautiful, with a sense of style all her own. From childhood on, Angela dressed in the ways she truly felt to express herself, disregarding what was en vogue or commonly acceptable. Anyone that knew her knew that she dressed as a true individual. Another important quality to mention would be her laugh, which carried across rooms, across buildings at times, and most certainly into people’s hearts.
From an early age Angela expressed herself creatively and was very talented. She loved to sing and had no trouble remembering the lyrics to any song from a very young age. She was also a gifted visual artist, dancer, and lover of music. Her sense of humour never failed to draw the attention of others. Whatever she did, she did it loud and proud; there was nothing subtle or meek about our dear Angie. She loved and lived fiercely and will forever live on in our memories as the larger than life, woman she became.
A celebration of Angela’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at 603 Wellington Crescent at Academy Road (Unitarian Church).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Addictions Foundation Manitoba, in Angela's memory, would be appreciated by the family.
