With heavy hearts, we announce that Patti passed away on September 27 at Victoria Hospital in Winnipeg, MB at the age of 75.
Patti is predeceased by her parents, Laird and Geraldine Linklater; and her husband Donn Hanna.
Patti is survived by her children, Ryan Hanna (Emilie Fortin) and Richard Hanna; brother Brian Linklater (Cheryl); sisters in-law, Lois Edwards (John), Karen Simmons, and Julie Duchnycz (Rick); nieces: Debra Tremblay (Gerald), Tracy Linklater (Starry), Jill Simmons (Mike), Carrie Stander (Kent), and Emma Simmons; nephews: Laird Linklater, Michael Edwards (Lisa), David Duchnycz (Yan), Glen Duchnycz (Denise), and Sean Edwards (Kristen); and cousins: Darrell Bell (Coral) and

Patti enjoyed Yoga and Sowing the Seeds of the Divine. She loved Bob Dylan and any crime TV show that would have a cadaver on a table. She got the travel bug later in life and yet had many beautiful trips to some exotic locations. Patti was a minimalist and preferred the company of friends and family and time spent with those.

We had intended to be at the Celebration of Life but COVID got in the way. So wanted to pass on our condolences to Patti's family. We have many fond memories of our boys growing up together at Far West Delta. She and Donn taught us to play canasta and we had so much fun with that. Miss those people so much!

So sorry to hear the sad news. I have good memories of going to the Scottish Pavilion at Folklorama with Donn and Patti. I ran into her in Polo Park last year.
