I had the pleasure and privilege of knowing Warren through work for the last 15 years. Although we are of different generations, once we met in person, we hit it off right away because of our shared love of music, films, pop culture and hockey. Whenever he visited Vancouver for work trips, we would pop out and visit the local haunts that catered to those shared interests.

On a professional level, Warren's career and travels brought such a unique perspective that no one else could match. When he decided to finally come back home to Winnipeg and later join our team, we could not have been luckier. Always diligent and always taking pride in everything he did every day, Warren was a testament to professionalism and made us all better. Whether it was by providing his input on a problem or by lifting up the group through his sense of humour in a team setting, Warren was always someone making a positive contribution.

I was happy to call Warren not just a colleague, but a friend as well. He was always smiling and positive, and he never had a bad word, or even a bad vibe, about anyone or anything. Warren was just a good man: the type of person whom anyone would be lucky to have in their life.

I will miss my friend. I will miss our commiserating about our Canucks and Jets. And I will miss having him as a great colleague upon whom we could always count.

Rest in peace, Warren. You are missed, and always will be.

I had the privilege of working with Warren for 14.5 years, and during that time he became so much more than an employee. He became a trusted colleague, a dear friend, and an invaluable part of our team.

Warren was one of the most compassionate people I have ever known. He genuinely loved his work, and it showed in every interaction he had. Our customers adored him because he treated everyone with kindness, respect, and sincerity. If there was ever a question that needed answering, Warren was the person to ask. A special task that had to be completed, put it in Warrens hands and consider it done. Just don't you dare interrupt his golf game or beer o'clock!

His knowledge, expertise, wisdom, willingness to help were unmatched. and his unwavering confidence leave incredibly BIG shoes to fill.

At Westrow, we are "Passionate About Perishables," but Warren was truly passionate about people. He represented every client with pride and dedication, and he made a lasting impression on everyone he met throughout his travels. His warm smile, generous spirit, and genuine interest in others made him unforgettable.

Warren leaves behind a legacy of professionalism, compassion, friendship, and mentorship that will never be forgotten. I am deeply grateful for the years we worked together and for the countless lives he touched along the way.

So today, I raise a toast to a young man who has left us far too soon. Thank you, Warren, for your friendship, your guidance, your laughter, and the example you set for all of us. The world is better for having had you in it, and we are all better for having known you.

My deepest condolences to his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.

Warren always had a smile when I would meet him through our work. We often were working in the same sections. Then when I found out he was a member at St.Boniface Golf Ciurse we would always talk about our golf games or what was happening at StB. I retired four years ago and kept asking him when he was going to retire. I never got the chance to play with him which I regret. RIP my friend and my condolences go out to his family.

Warren was a great guy who was a joy to be around. Tragic that he won't be around to enjoy his golden years. I wished we'd been paired more often Warren. I can honestly say I enjoyed each game and there always something new to discuss and laugh about. RIP my friend. A gaping hole is left at RSB.

Hi. I've known Warren for some time at StB golf but really got closer in the last few years. He was a genuine person and such good man! We really connected on music. When I first heard his playlist on the course - The Cure, Clash, etc - I knew he was a great person and we connected immediately! I will miss him and he's in our hearts and prayers. He's in a good place, reunited and probably watching us at the course. I laid some tobacco at the course as an offering to help him get where he belongs. My sincerest condolences to friends and family, i know we'll miss him at the course.

Enjoyed many rounds of golf with Warren, including a few in June before his passing. He was a terrific individual and great man. He will be missed by all of us as at SBGC.
