In Loving Memory of
ROSE HEBERT

August 13, 1956 – October 10, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rose Hebert, who left us peacefully on October 10, 2025, at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, at the age of 69.

Rose was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She lived in St. Boniface, where she brought light and laughter to everyone around her. Known for her bright smile and joyful spirit, Rose had a way of making those near her feel loved and cared for. She was the kind of person who would give the shirt off her back for her family — always helping, always giving, and always ready with a joke to lift someone’s spirits.

She had a special gift for making others feel welcome and valued, and her home was often filled with laughter, love, lots of great food and the occasional bingo card. Rose truly enjoyed the simple pleasures in life and found great joy in playing bingo, sharing stories, and spending time with her loved ones.

She is lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her daughter Lana Hebert; her son Sean Hebert; her cherished grandchildren, Michael, Shiann, and Grey; and siblings, Edna, Geraldine, Louise, Dennis, Allan, Garry, Arthur; as well as many other family members and friends whose lives she touched with her warmth and generosity.

Though she may be

gone from our sight,

she will never be

gone from our hearts.

Rose’s family kindly requests that all of her friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour her memory by sharing photos, memories, and stories, using the comment section on this page.

They say only the good die young, and in this instance it could never be more true. Rose was one of the kindest people I have ever met. I did not know her that well, but she always had a smile and a kind thing to say to me. Louise and Lana and the rest of your family, I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you...she will be greatly missed.
