I shared laughs with Doug in high school, and some on-line in the past couple of years. I appreciated his care, and marveled at the positivity he projected. He was a special person who made a positive impact on the lives of many.

I was so sorry to hear of Doug's passing. I had the pleasure of meeting Doug in the CFC Peer Training. He had such a gift of sharing his lived experience and lived expertise and making people feel at ease. I knew in training he would do an amazing job supporting people living with CF and I see through the comments that he did. My sincere condolences to you, Laura, He spoke so fondly of you and all the love and support you showed him all those years together. May his memory be a blessing.

So sorry hear of Doug's passing. We lost touch a lot of years ago but he was always so much fun to be around And was a great soul.

I knew Doug through volunteering in the Peer Connect program at Cystic Fibrosis Canada. He was so friendly and outgoing and always willing to share his experiences of living with CF. I know this helped so many. My sincerest condolences to Doug's family and friends. xx

I am sorry to hear of Doug's passing. I had only just been introduced to him through the peer support program at Cystic Fibrosis Canada. Doug was always willing to share his experience and wisdom during our sessions, and I'm certain he helped many people living with CF with his insights. My sympathies to his loved ones.

I met Doug about a decade ago. We chatted about everything. i introduced him to my niece, Tara-Lynn, to him. They both having CF, they began a unique friendship. Doug could talk and talk and talk... we always had lively conversations. i would always cheer him on and be interested in his health journey. I will truly Moose you Doug. Am grateful that you are pain free and taking a Deep breath 🥰. You were truly one of a kind. Rest in Peace my Dougie.

I was so lucky that Doug contacted me looking for a massage therapist. I was able to go to Doug's home for over a decade to work. He was a well informed creative person whose active participation in his own care and commitment to others living with similar challenges was inspiring. I've learned importsnt life lessons from both Doug and Laura. They were in fact a team and I know their love and respect for each other.

im glad to have known Doug. I can say I loved him and enjoyed every minute with him.

Doug was a really good friend of mine. He will truly be missed. We both have CF and double lung transplants within a month of each other. He was the guy I went to to ask questions. If he didn't know the answer. He'd figure it out for me. I'll miss you so much.

I remember when my cousin Laura told me about this guy named Doug! Honestly no one was good enough for my cousin so I had to meet him! Doug (and Laura) picked me up. Doug had the best music playing in his car which scored some points with me. When I saw Laura truly laugh at something Doug did or said, man I became a fan of Doug! Later Jason and I had many double dates with Laura and Doug and enjoyed every moment! Rest in Peace Doug!
