NOAH MICHAEL TIMOTHY HOBAN

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of Noah Michael Timothy Hoban, beloved son, at the age of 89 days on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 in Winnipeg, MB.

Noah is the son of loving parents Byron and Lisa (née Dunham) Hoban born on July 27, 2023. On this day, their hearts were filled with so much joy as Noah was the answer to their prayers. During his brief time, Noah enjoyed being read books, listening to music, singing karaoke, having scalp massages, enjoying the art show in his room and most importantly being held by Mom and Dad. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

We were blessed with the medical team at HSC Women’s Hospital and the NICU for the level of care provided for Noah during his short life. We are grateful for the compassion and kindness shown to us during such indescribable heartbreak.

Our little sunshine will be remembered for the joy he brought to our lives, his luscious locks of hair and his reaction to Mom and Dad when we were with him cuddling, talking and singing. He will be forever cherished and in our hearts as we continue in life finding ways to honour him.

Noah is survived by his parents, Byron and Lisa Hoban of Winnipeg; grandparents, Mike and Kathy Hoban of Winnipeg; many aunts, uncles, and cousins from near and far. Noah is predeceased by his grandparents, Tim and Louise Dunham.

In lieu of flowers, if family and friends so desire, donations may be made in Noah’s honour to the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba,  designating the funds to the NICU Trust.

I am heartbroken to hear of you loss. Mark-Cuss, (therapy dog) and I  would visit the hospital on Wednesday’s.  He seemed to know that you needed extra cuddle time and was never in a hurry to leave (especially Byron). I hope his visits brought you some comfort.  It was a privilege to have met such a gracious, strong and caring couple.

As Jill and I are here, deeply saddened and very emotional reading this, I can safely say that there wasn't a day that went by that you guys weren't in our thoughts.  Can't even begin to imagine what you are going through.  But please know that we are thinking about you 💙  Jill and Derek.

Our hearts and thoughts are with you both. Noah was indeed a blessing and a fighter. He will now be in a special place with his Grandparents and be your Special Angel.
