JUNE HORSFALL

Peacefully with family by her side, June Horsfall passed away on August 31, 2026, to rejoin her beloved husband of 61 years, Harold “Whitey” Horsfall.

June will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Debbie (Kevin), Kelly, Nancy (Brad) and son Jeff (Thérèse), her Grandchildren, Derrick (Joanna), Kyle (Lisa), Kayla (Bryce), Daniel, Emma, Joshua, Grace, Blake, Tyler and Great-granddaughter, Rooney.

In her younger years, June worked as a switchboard operator before choosing to stay home and raise their four children. She and Dad spent over 50 years in their East Kildonan home, creating lasting memories before moving to Concordia Village.

Once the Children were independent, June decided to return to the workforce. She worked for the Province of Manitoba Emergency Services alongside some of her neighbours.

After retiring, Mom & Dad enjoyed travelling down South spending time together golfing and making wonderful new memories.

June was a long time member of Immanuel United Church and deeply appreciated her life long faith journey, as well as the fellowship of the Immanuel Congregation and Ministry. Mom was one of the kindest, most honest people you could know. She was always there for us at dance recitals, sporting events, band concerts, and so many other important moments throughout our lives. We are forever grateful to the woman we were blessed to call Mom and Grandma H. Her love, kindness, and unwavering presence in our lives will be deeply missed and forever cherished. Special thanks to Extendicare Oakview Place for their kind and compassionate care over the past few months.
