ALAN WAYNE HUME

November 17, 1948 – August 11, 2021

Alan Hume passed away, after a lengthy illness, in the Riverview Health Centre, at the age of 72.

Alan was a true Nova Scotian whose love of nature made him wish to explore more of Canada. He spent many years in British Columbia, eventually winding up in Winnipeg.

In his adult life, Alan constantly used his college education in psychology and faith, trying to make himself the best person he could be.

He leaves his siblings, Stewart and Brenda of Nova Scotia; and his partner Carol in Winnipeg, as well as numerous friends.

In keeping with Alan's wishes, cremation has taken place. His family kindly requests that his friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour his memory by sharing your own photos and/or sharing your own memories and stories using the comment section on this page. Condolences for the family are also encouraged.
