BOGUSLAW (BOGDAN) JABLONSKI

Bogdan passed away suddenly but peacefully at Victoria Hospital in Winnipeg, at the age of 78.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Grazyna; stepson Pawel; son Krzysztof (Jola); granddaughter Kinga (Szymon); and great granddaughter Zosia. Bogdan was predeceased by his parents, Maria and Marian; and younger brother Ryszard. 

Born in Lwow, he was raised in Krakow, Poland where his family settled in 1948 after the WWII. Bogdan lived and worked in Krakow until 1981, when he relocated to Canada, ending his fulfilling and rewarding career as a president of the Federation of Dance Associations and Clubs in Poland.

Several years after arriving in Winnipeg, Bogdan opened polish restaurant "Polonez" which he ran hand in hand with his wife Grazyna until their retirement.

He was a member of the Polish Gymnastic Association Sokol and volunteered for the organization participating in many events. 

He will be truly missed for his great sense of humor, loyalty and dedication to a cause.

In keeping with Bogdan's wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at 6pm on August 30, 2023 at the polish club "Sokol", 717 Manitoba Ave, Winnipeg.
