GEORGE JACKSON

It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of our dad, George Jackson, on October 28, 2024 at the age of 59.

George was predeceased by his father George; mother Gwen; brother Darren; and wife Shauna.

George leaves behind his three children, Allen (Kristen), Krista (Michael), and Andrew (April); grandchildren, Aryanna, Jeremy, Curtis, and Emma; Sister Carol (Gord); along with a large extended family and many friends from over the years.

George spent his life working as a mechanic and had a love of demos only a few could understand that he got from his own parents.

George has been struggling since the passing of this late wife Shauna in 2020 and the family finds comfort in knowing he, and their dog Vinny, will now reunite together.

The family would like to thank the Winnipeg Fire and Paramedic Services for everything they did for him , along with the nurses and doctors at St Boniface hospital who did their best.

At this time the family has decided there will be no formal service held.

In lieu of flowers, we would like you to consider making a donation to Cancer Care Manitoba or through Shared Health towards Mental Health & Addictions.
