PAULETTE JACKSON

We are saddened to announce the passing of Paulette Jackson (née Rioux) on September 19, 2026, after a lengthy illness.

Paulette was born on April 26, 1961 at the St. Boniface Hospital, the third child of Charles and Emilie Rioux. Paulette was predeceased by her parents and her son Kevin.

Paulette grew up in St. Boniface and graduated from College Secondaire de Saint-Boniface in 1979. Paulette worked various jobs during her career as a Health Care Aide. She worked at Tache Centre and St. Amant Centre before moving to providing care at home for clients. Paulette especially enjoyed the home visits with her clients and the conversations they had while she cared for them. She continued to care for clients in their homes until her illness caused her to stop.

Paulette met Larry in 2000 and they have been together since. They enjoyed many trips travelling to different casinos particularly their trip to Las Vegas.

Paulette is survived by her loving spouse Larry Grawberger, Sisters Marie Ange (Rob), Veronique (Marcel) and Brother Antoche (Darlene), numerous nieces and nephews, and Larry’s family, Victor (Cathy), Clifford (Cindy), Jeanette, Tom (Brenda), Angie (Brian), Holly (Joe), Garry (Bonnie) Barbara (Paul).

In keeping with Paulette’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.

The family would like to thank the staff at the St. Norbert Nursing Home as well as the Home Care Workers for their care and kindness toward Paulette during her illness.
