CATHERINE ELAINE JAMES

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Catherine Elaine James on Auguust 14, 2023 with her beloved family by her side.

Cathy will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by her husband Bill; sister Linda (Ron); brother Larry (Ann); sisters, Diane (Al), Janice (Bernie), and Carol (John); along with numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, Jennifer and Jamey, Isis and Jacob, Kim and Rob, Rowan and Alice, Ashley and Mike, John and Jeff, Adam and Kyle, Lucas and Sydney; and her best friend, Otto, her dog.

Cathy enjoyed many years camping at St. Malo with family and friends. She also enjoyed spending time at the Winnipeg Speedway, watching Bill and many friends race. Cathy loved crafts; cross stitching, knitting, and crocheting were some of her favourite pastimes.

She also enjoyed many family gatherings with dinner and card games. She loved to travel, with cruising being one of her favourites.

Cathy cherished her time most with her dogs Otis, otto, coco, and her cat Rusty. They gave her great comfort and were always by her side.

No words can ever express how much you shall be missed. We love you dearly and you will be in our hearts forever.

Cremation and a celebration of life have taken place.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society.
