SHARON ANN JEWER

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sharon Ann Jewer on May 28, 2023 at The Grace Hospital.

Born in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia Sharon moved to Winnipeg in 1968. Predeceased by her parents Gladys and Alfred Campbell, and her loving husband Roy. Sharon is survived by her sisters Carol and Edie, and brother Bill (Ginny).

Sharon worked as a Health Care Aide at The Salvation Army Golden West Lodge for many years where she retired from. She was an active member of The Salvation Army from a young age where she participated in many groups and events. Sharon enjoyed The Salvation Army Band, songsters and would often partake by playing her timbrill. She loved to sing and could raise the roof with her strong, beautiful voice. Being in Sharon's presence was a great privilege to many. She was a loving, kind, caring, Christian woman who loved The Lord.

Sharon along with her husband Roy had many dear friends who they enjoyed trips, camping, games, dinners and so much more. One of her favorite memories was being at Rushing River.

Sharon will be greatly missed by many.

Many thanks to the health care aides, nurses, and doctors for their kind and caring ways. As well as the home care workers that cared for her over many years.

Service to be held at 1:30pm on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at The Salvation Army Heritage Park Temple (825 School Road). Donations can be made to the charity of your choosing.

Sharon's family kindly requests that all of her friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour her memory by sharing photos, memories, and stories, using the comment section on this page.

Words cannot express how sad I am of my dear sister's passing. I'm blessed that I was able to spend time with her recently. I will always cherish my memories that I have of her humming and singing; especially at my daughter's wedding. I'm at peace knowing that Roy, Dad and Mom were there to welcome her home. Love Carole❤
