JARRETT JUENKE

May 28, 1978 - September 24, 2022

On Sunday, September 24, 2022, we lost our son, brother, uncle, brother-in-law, and friend Jarrett who passed away suddenly at the age of 44.

He was born in Portage la Prairie on May 28, 1978, to Dennis and Anne Juenke, the youngest of 3 children. He was predeceased by his dad, Dennis.  He is survived by his mom Anne; sisters Karen (Davis), and Kim (Kevin), nieces and nephews Gage, Cassie, Jordan, Jeremy, and Alyssa as well 2 great nephews Declan and Jazper.

Growing up Jarrett camped a lot with his family. With these experiences he gained a love for hiking the Mantario Trail and fishing with the family as well as exploring the outdoors.

Jarrett also gained a passion for carpentry as he worked alongside his dad working on various projects.  He was employed with in construction renovating homes and was recently renovating a hotel in Vernon, BC.

As there will not be a formal celebration, in lieu of flowers if you so choose, you may donate to Winnipeg Humane Society as he had a love for animals, dogs specifically. 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB R3T 0R3

Our family kindly requests that all his friends and relatives take a few minutes to honor his memory by watching the photo-biography above. Please, also consider sharing your memories, and stories by making use of the comment section on this page.

I’ll never forget our summers at your grandma’s in Beausejour. Jarrett always wanted to play with us but he was your pesky little brother. Both Karen and Kim loved him fiercely. I’m sending your families my sincere condolences and prayers on your loss.  Life just isn’t fair.

My condolences to the family. I only got to know Jarrett from our trip from Airdrie Alberta to Tyndall last year. Had lots to talk about. You will be missed.

Shocked and saddened by seeing that Jarrett passed. I was lucky enough to know him briefly along his journey. Great memories of playing against him in ping pong. Can remember his laugh vividly. My condolences to his family. Such a loss.
