GEORGE ROBERT KAFKA JR.

October 26, 1955 - January 1, 2022

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of George Robert Kafka Jr, on Saturday January 1 2022 aged 66 years at Saint Boniface Hospital.

He is survived by his ex-wife Dorothy (Shane); daughters Amanda and Sarah; grand children, Michaela, Cody, Tyler, Emily and Callie; God son Richard; brothers Steve (Debbie) and Edward; sister Jeanette (Doug); aunt Corinna; as well as numerous other relatives. George is predeceased by his parents, George Sr. and Shirley; sister Susan; and nephew John.

George was employed for many years by Piston Ring as a truck driver.

He enjoyed white water rafting, water skiing, swimming, boating, camping, fishing, wood working, cooking and working on vehicles. He was a jack of all trades. George loved to spend time with his family and friends, but he was always happiest with his grandchildren.

We will miss his silly songs, his late-night chats, useful knowledge, laughs and hugs. We will miss his wisdom. He will always be in our hearts and definitely never forgotten. He was a big part of all our lives and will always be missed.

There will a private celebration of life held at a later date.
