Ike Klassen

ISAAC ‘IKE’ KLASSEN
August 5, 1944 - February 17, 2023
Isaac 'Ike' Klassen peacefully passed away Friday, February 17, 2023 with his beloved Pamela at his side. Ike was born August 5, 1944 in the Winkler Hospital to Abe J. and Helen Klassen.
He is survived by his partner Pam, one daughter Michelle, three sons Brad, Darren and Brian and their families. Also, one sister, two brothers and their families. He was predeceased by his parents, brother David and sister-in-law Diane.
Ike's main career was spent in personnel. He enjoyed the challenge of recruiting the right people for specific positions. Twenty-four years were spent on the DEW line, six years in Kuwait and following his return from the Middle East, he was actively employed at a Winnipeg employment agency till his passing.
The following lyrics sum up the passing of Ike:
And now, the end is near
And so, I face the final curtain
My friend, I'll say it clear
I'll state my case of which I'm certain
I've lived a life that's full
I've traveled each and every highway
And more, much more than this
I did it my way.
As per Ike's wishes no formal service will be held. Internment of ashes will take place at a later date.
Rest in Peace.

My freind. He told true and always detailed stories, without him always being the centre of them. Humble. If needed, he was ALWAYS there for me. Damm U for leaving us Ike. I miss U.
