CAROL ANN KNOTT

(née MALENFANT)

June 2, 1933 – June 14, 2026

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Carol on June 14, 2026. 


Carol was pre-deceased by her husband Richard, sisters Joan Pritchard and Miriam Wright, and both sister and brother-in-law Elinor and John English.


Carol was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, on June 2, 1933 and lived a life marked by gentleness, and devotion to family. She believed family was life's greatest blessing and took great pride in caring for and supporting her daughters, grandchildren, and extended family.


Known for her generosity and hospitality, Carol expressed her love through preparing family meals and baking for those she cared about. Her pickled carrots, red velvet cake, and imperial cookies became cherished family favorites. Creatively she expressed herself through knitting, needlepoint and, in later years, painting.


Carol faced life's challenges with quiet strength and through it all, her faith remained evident in her kindness, encouragement, and gentle spirit.


Carol is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Marie Kalisch (George) and Janice Naccarato (Charlie); grandchildren, Ryan Primmett (Sunny), Danielle Ellis (Steven), Jayce Naccarato (Gráinne), Taylor Wall (James); and great-grandchildren, Hannah Primmett, Miya Primmett, and Natalia Wall.


Her legacy is one of love, hospitality, and faithful devotion to family. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.


To honour her memory, friends and family are invited to a light luncheon. on Tuesday, June 23rd, 12:30, Social Room at 220 Burning Glass Road.
