WAYNE KOZAKOWSKI

January 26, 1959 - February 23, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Wayne on February 23, 2024 positive and appreciative at the Riverview Palliative Care. He was loved and will be missed by so many.

Wayne was born deaf in Grandview Manitoba. He attended the Manitoba School for the Deaf in Winnipeg and was an avid supporter of the Manitoba Deaf Community. He especially enjoyed assisting in the deaf camp program.

In late 2023, Wayne was battling the effects of blood clots, and then was diagnosed with cancer in December. This was a very aggressive cancer and Wayne was able to fight the disease for only a couple of months. Throughout his battle with his health issues Wayne remained positive and appreciative of the care and support of family and friends.

The family would like to thank the staff at Riverview Palliative Care for their care and compassion during Wayne's short stay.

Cremation has taken place. A private family internment will take place at a later date.
