Deb & family. Dear Jack was one of a kind. A true gentleman & a first class guy. Our relationship of over 30 plus years was truly special. From the Midtown ford days to Ducks limited events. The many hunting trips & stories. But the best where the days at portage creek with the boys. I'll miss you good friend. Until we meet again. Tight lines straight shooting. Gerry.

I saw this on the weekend Debbie & my heart was so sad. . You 2 were sooo much fun. I remember the trip to Acapulco with Computerland & all the fun we had. You were so generous & made sure I was included. Jack was always kind to me & he sure could make you laugh. I remember times at your Mom & Dad's place (Moyra & Ted) where he always entertained. I was amazed that there was a Longstaffe on the same page as Jack's obituary (Spelled Differently)-but I think that was your

Mom & Dad touching base. Would love to see you again someday. My cel # is 204 981 2112. I work for Continental Travel now-but Mackie travel was where I dealt with Computerland all those many years ago. Sending a big hug to you & your family

Debbie ... our thoughts are with you and your family. Lots of wonderful memories of the many game feasts we had in the city at one another's homes and the fun times up at "Ivanhoe" and the "The Duck Hotel" will stay with us.

I was sorry to learn of Jack's passing. I have many great memories of working with Jack at ComputerLand where he was my boss. (I remember martooni fridays!) As my birthday is one day before his, we did have a long standing tradition of going to Rae & Jerrys for an annual brthday lunch. That tradition went by the wayside as time went by, but I will always remember Jack with great fondness. My heartfelt condolences to Debbie and the family. RIP Jack.

Our condolences to all. I worked with Jack in the '90s, he was always positive, happy, and up for a chat about work or anything else. He was very proud of his family and spoke often about them, and growing up in Headingley on the farm. Always generous with his time and kind.

To Deb and Family...please accept my heartfelt condolences on Jack's passing. He was a wonderful human being and I'm proud to call him a friend.

We first met as neighbours in Wpg.,and that evolved into a great friendship that expanded into other relationships with friends and colleagues.

We did have some adventures !!

Time and geography didn't allow a lot of contact over the years, but I thought of him often.

He was one of the best friends that a person could have, and he will be missed.

God Speed Jack !!

Growing up with Jack as his older brother was a memorable experience. We spent the better part of our early years together, living and working on the family farm. I paricularly remember walking up the long driveway every morning to catch the school bus and then walking home at nght. We had lots of time to share ideas.

Most of the time Jack and I got along. and after I left home we stayed in touch.. We met at family gatherings, talked on the phone, text and Instagram.

Jack was outgoing, likeable and popular. He had many friends and loved to fish, hunt and cook.

May he rest in peace, the memories will live on..

Deb & Family, This is just so wrong and I am so sorry for your loss. Just take very good care of yourself while grieving. I have to say, it eases but never goes away. Comfort yourself on the fun times you had and that he adored you all, his family. Hugs & Love Sharel

Jack's gift truly was connecting with people. Working with Debbie he would often call the office and my day was always improved by my little chat with Jack. It was never just "Tell Deb I called" it was always a How are you? Hope your having a good day.

Sending SO much love to you Debbie.

You are all in my thoughts and prayers
