ROLAND LALIBERTY

March 12, 1952 - July 5, 2021

With heavy hearts, we announce that Roland Laliberty passed away on July 5, 2021 in the Grace Hospital at the age of 69 years.

He is survived by his loving wife Pierrette; sons, Dale (Shawna), and Barry (Amanda); step sons, Steven (Robyn), and Sheldon (Michelle); grandchildren, Desiree, Brayden, Talon, Braylon, Kevin, Nadas, Natan, Sarayah, Maddox, Auryn, Dominic, Jayce, and Katelyn; great grandchild Nina; siblings Jeannette (Ralph), Florence (Stan), and Marie (Ernest); nephews, Miles and Leroy as well as extended family and friends. Roland is predeceased by his mother Alice, and his father Albert.

Rolly drove truck for Canada Cartage for many years. His family was his most prized possession. He loved playing pool, shuffleboard, curling, golfing, and fishing.

In accordance with Rolly's wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Rolly’s life will be announced at a later date, when we are safely able to come together. In the meantime, Rolly’s family kindly requests that all of his friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour his memory by sharing photos, memories, and stories, using the comment section on this page.

In lieu of flowers please make a donation to a charity of your choice in Rolly's name.

Sorry to hear of Rolly passing. A lot of great memories at the campground. It will be tough finding anyone to look after those damn squirrels like Rolly did. Rolly will always be remembered when we get together at Oftys. Sorry for your loss Pete.  Charles, Audra, Nick and Adam

I knew rolly from pool playing days and had a few drinks with him  before his games would start ,he was friendly guy for the short time I knew him .sorry to hear of his passing.rip rolly George Ross.

I worked with Rolly for many years at Cottrell Transport. Had a lot of fun golfing in Grand Forks, ND. He was always fun to be with. Our thoughts and condolences are with your family. Rick & Gigi Lambert

I was sad to hear Rolly was gone. He was such a friendly, fun man. I will cherish the music he made for me when I was at the campground. Take care Pete and I hope we cross paths again ❣️.

Although I didn’t know Rolly all that well I do know he was a very kind man. When I came to visit my friends The Parisien Family, he was kind enough to pick me up at the airport. Rolly, RIP. You will be missed by so many who loved you. 🙏❤️
