LINDA ANNE MARY LAMB
(née Campbell)
1939 - 2025
With sadness and appreciation for a beautiful life, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, sister, and mama, Linda, on February 25, 2025. Born in Winnipeg in 1939 to a family of six children, Linda had an unwavering devotion to family.
Predeceased by her husband Lloyd; parents, Anne and Charles; siblings, John, Margaret, and Lorraine, and several other cherished family members, she is lovingly remembered by daughters, Laura (Steve Garner) and Susan; granddaughter Marie; and extended family.
Linda met Lloyd through a mutual friend, marrying in 1959 and celebrating 60 years together before his passing in 2020. Linda and Lloyd loved to travel and especially valued their winter getaways in retirement. While raising her daughters, Linda was a devoted homemaker and actively volunteered in her community. As her daughters grew older, she returned to the workforce, contributing her skills to the Manitoba Department of Education.
A gifted artist, she found her passion in porcelain painting, bringing beauty into the world. She also loved gardening, spending time at their cottage at Belair, hosting dinner parties, and dancing, always cherishing time with friends and family. Her bond with her granddaughter Marie was especially close, as she adored being a mama.
Our family will honour her privately. To remember Linda, be kind, enjoy life, and raise a glass.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society Canada. Special thanks to the staff at Action Marguerite for their care and compassion.

Outgoing, fun loving and a gracious boss at work. She brought her organizational skills and integrity to province wide mailings at the Manitoba Department of Education. This was one of my first jobs and she gathered together a very special group of people for this task. With her leadership, patience and understanding she allowed me to grow despite my many mistakes. I've known Linda since I was a child so thankyou "Mrs. Lamb" and Godspeed.

Lloyd and Linda Lamb were the most wonderful neighbors anyone could hope for! Our family has so many cherished memories of growing up next door to these amazing people. I can still picture them tending to their yard, always keeping it immaculate. Until we meet again Linda! Sending our love to the Lamb family.

I first met Linda after receiving an engagement gift from my teaching colleagues: a beautiful procelain vase she painted with peonies. I just had to meet the artist! Not only have we cherished this vase for 40+ years but also the several Rosenthal plates she meticulously painted with Irises., and my pansy dessert plate I share with special guests..
My visits with her were awesome adventures as she showed her latest works. She had an amazing gift that she shared with people like me. Thank-you, Linda! Fondly remembered, Orysia Jackson

What a beautiful tribute. ❤️
Your Mom and Dad were the best neighbours for 19 years. We shared so many special times and many many laughs together.
I will treasure the porcelain pieces she gave me. More importantly, I will treasure her kindness and friendship. She was a very special person. Sending sincere sympathy from our family to yours.

Growing up across the street from the Lamb family was a gift, and there was always something creative and fun going on when Mrs. Lamb was around. I can still hear her laughter. She was special.
