It is with both sadness and relief that the family announce the passing of their beloved, Joe Lasko, in the early morning of Saturday May 30th at the age of 61. His loving wife was at his side.

Joe is survived by his wife Ali; his mother Annette; his step-daughters Chantal (Ken), Danielle (Kardy), and Ashley; his grandchildren Kaden, Ali and Norah; his brothers Steve (Monique), Walter (Inga), Wayne (Shelley) and Jim (Sandy); numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, including his godson Riley. Joe was predeceased by his father Walter; his step-father Borden; his brother Timmy; and his beloved dog Blue.

Joe enjoyed carpentry and working with his hands. He had a long career with Loewen Windows. He was forced to step away from his job when he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in his early 40s. Joe enjoyed travel, especially hot spots during the cold Winnipeg winters. He was an avid fan of both the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Winnipeg Jets. He was cofounder of the Oxford Ox hockey team,
