CLAUDETTE LAURENCELLE
December 12, 1946 – October 22, 2024
With heavy hearts, we announce that Claudette passed away on October 22, 2024 at home in Lee River at the age of 77.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Guy Laurencelle; and son Marc; sisters Agathe, Agnes (Paul Valiquet), and Gertrude; and brother Richard.
She is predeceased by her daughter Paulette Laurencelle; her parents, Josephine and Paul Lambert; her brothers, Felix (Lucille) Lambert and Jean (Clara) Lambert; sister Claire (Yvon) Fillion; and brothers-in-law, Maurice Fiola and Rosaire Deblois.
Claudette raised two loving children who she loved very much. She was very devoted to and loved her husband. She was always laughing and smiling. Her favourite pastimes were working in the flower gardens and taking care of her many house plants. She was an avid reader and would finish a book in a day or so. She had many friends whom she liked spending time with. She will be missed by everyone whose life she touched.
Don’t grieve for me for now I’m free,
I’m following the path God laid for me
I took his hand when I heard him call,
I turned my back and left it all
I could not stay another day,
To laugh, to love, to work or play
Tasks left undone must stay that way,
I’ve found that peace at the close of day
If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joy
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
Ah yes, these things I too will miss
Be not burdened with times of sorrow,
I wish for you the sunshine of tomorrow
My life’s been full, I’ve savored much,
Good friends, good times, my loved one’s touch
If my time seemed all too brief,
Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief
Lift up your heart, rejoice with me,
God wanted me now, He set me free.
A celebration of their life will be held at 2 McIvor Drive, with the date yet to be determined. Please contact the family directly for further details.
In Accordance with their wishes, no formal service will be held.
Claudette’s family kindly requests that all of her friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour her memory by sharing photos, memories, and stories, using the comment section on this page.

Sorry for your loss Uncle Guy & Marc, she Will greatly be missed! Loved her a wit and her contagious laughter.... lol Beautiful hearty laugh! Rest in peace now you are joined with your beautiful daughter... Will miss ya aunty and cherish all the beautiful memories we hold in our hearts. ❤️

Claudette was such a happy, friendly , beautiful person Whom we met while Wintering at The Resort in Mesa for many years! So many wonderful memories were made with Claudette and Guy. We are so thankful to have known her.
