GRANDA-RAE LEOCHKO

(née Williams)

June 26, 1954 - August 21, 2025

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our dear Mother and Baba at the age of 71.

Mom was predeceased by her common law husband Glen Miles; Mother Stella and Father Roy; Stepmom Sally; siblings, Grant, Gail and Gary.

She leaves behind her 3 children, Gregory (Mona), Sherry-Lynn, Amanda-Dawn (Joseph); and grandchildren, Katia, Leo and Haylee; Ex-husband Kenneth Leochko; brothers, Garnet and Gerald; and sisters, Yvonne and Geraldine. Many more stepbrothers and sisters, nieces and nephews and good friends.

Mom was calm, gentle and simple. She had spent many summers at Gull Lake and loved her little "hide-a-way". She was known for making perogies. Even rolling out the dough with a whiskey bottle when a rolling pin could not be found. She loved old country music, especially Kenny Rodgers. Mom also loved it when her children/ grandchildren would call, text, face time and visit.

As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. Internment and a celebration of life for immediate family and close friends will be held at a later date and time.

If my parting has left a void,

Then fill it with remembering joy.

My life's been full, I savored much,

Good friends, good times, a loved ones touch.

Perhaps my time seemed all too brief,

Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.

Lift up your heart and share with me,

God wanted me now, He set me free.

We love you, Mom. Until we meet again.

So many memories of my childhood revolve around the Trek across the street of Anderson Ave that I will always cherish. Gone too soon, always remembered
