ANDREA ESMERALDA LOPEZ ORELLANA

With heavy hearts, we announce that Drea Lopez passed away on May 18, 2022 in HSC's Leukemia ward with her mother and partner at her side at the tender age of 23 years.

She leaves to celebrate her memory: her partner Eric; siblings, Cecilia (Scott) and Alberto; mother Mirna; cat Franklyn; and many friends and family.

For anyone that was blessed to know Drea, they know just how fun and bubbly she was. Never one to be the center of attention at a party, she worked her magic one-on-one. She was a kind soul that was easy to talk to, which came in handy at her job as a hairstylist.
 

She was a lover of all things unique. A lover of art, sweets, video games, anime, and cute things. She loved playing games and had a competitive streak, though she was never a sore winner or easy  loser. She just liked having fun. Family time with the siblings was always important. She was fiercely loyal to those that she loved.

She had an innocent soul, and a laugh that could light up a room. A strong woman who was still discovering just how strong she was out of her shell.

Her family would like to thank the nurses and staff in the HSC's GD6 wing. She got to know a lot of you very well. Thank you for helping her through that difficult time in her life.
 

In accordance with their wishes, cremation has taken place and a small private celebration of life will be held.
